Judging for the D&AD Awards 2008 has now taken place and Colonel Blimp are proud to announce that OneInThree have been awarded an in book credit for their video for ‘Promises’ by Badly Drawn Boy. Winners of D&AD Yellow or Black Pencils will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday the 15th of May. We’d like to thank the jury for nominating OneInThree, and you can see the nominated video here.

Dougal Wilson has directed another hit for Goldfrapp with his MGM musical-inspired video for Goldfrapp’s ‘Happiness’. This is Dougal’s second video for the Goldfrapp campaign, and we’re happy to confirm that it picks up where ‘A&E’ left off. Dougal’s team have created another magical universe centered around a character jumping for joy (complete with dancing dog).

Simon returns to direct for Colonel Blimp again with his video for the debut single from Jack McManus. ‘Bang On The Piano’ is a classic Willows vision with strong art direction and a particularly mischievous piano. You can see the video here. And the making of here.
