Blimp’s latest signing is Kalle Haglund who will be joining us from the Stylewar collective. Kalle came to our attention with his video for the Kaiser Chiefs “I Predict A Riot” with its clever mix of post, animation and live action. The big man has been tied up with a new Orange campaign for the past couple of months but is now hopefully free to spend the winter making videos. Fingers crossed. Ramon Bloomberg has just delivered a brilliant new video for The Raconteurs “Hands” Taking his cue from the title Ramon set the performance in a Norwegian school for the deaf to draw on their sign language skills and also to fit in round the bands busy touring schedule. The video is already going down so well in the US that Rolling Stone magazine will be featuring Ramon talking about his work in the upcoming edition. Ramon has also been nominated for the celebrated Rushes short film festival for his UK debut for Maximo Park’s “Stay” It looks like being a busy year for Mr Bloomberg |
