Latest on the Blimp site is another stormer from the house of Waverly. Its always an interesting brief when you don’t have to feature the artist and for this debut single from Braund Reynolds commissioner Jane Newton has really pushed the boat out by plumping for “a skeleton goes to Vegas, cleans you out and then gets run out of town.” And why not... Its the first of November and we start the day with another cracker from Dougal Wilson this time for Atlantic band and recent Mercury nominess Hard Fi. Taking a lateral cue from the songs titles and lyrics the song depicts a shrunken band as hard labourers living inside a cash machine. Stunning sets from our very own Diamond Dogs; sumptuous anamorphic photography from Stephen Keith Roach and a lot of work from Dougal add up to one of the videos of the year. So far! |
