Better late than never Colonel Blimp returns from late summer hols to see Diamond Dogs cracker for Maximo Park already nestling on the site. Drawing on their art department skills the guys built some killer sets and utilised an idea they had been percolating for a while. The band love it and so do MTV – its already rocketing up the NME chart and has taken Maximo Park onto MTV Hits for the first time. Good work fellas!

New additions to the site today are Dom Leung’s amazing Blimp debut for Bloc Party’s “2 More Years”. Shot on 35mm with lovely anamorphic lenses by Denzil Armour-Brown this vid is already in massive rotation on MTV.

In the new work section we have another debut Blimp debut from Mother’s top creative Kim Gehrig. Our first shot at this was almost a total disaster when rain quite literally stopped play on the wettest day of the summer. Thanks to XL we scraped together enough money for a reshoot and thanks also to Mother – who shut down for the day – we had enough extras to make it all work. Well done Kim and here’s to the first of many.
