Colonel Blimp welcomes HAPPY.

Another busy month in the transfer markets for Colonel Blimp as we welcome legendary international directors team Happy into the officers mess. More renown for their high end commercial japery for Orbit Chewing gum - man pukes dog - the boys have already picked up nominations at both the CADS and MVPAs for the debut video for Freelands "We Want Your Soul"

Lynn Fox V's Maximo Park!

Lynn Fox report back to head quarters with a bang and their first performance video since Dog a very long time ago. This time no clever post production but a raw, dv based performance shoot in one of the more challenging locations we've ever filmed in.

I'm sworn to secrecy as to the actual location but suggestions that the video was shot in a Hercules C-130 over Iraq aren't that wide of the mark.

MVPA's 2005

Congratulations to the Blimp crew on their multiple nominations for the MVPAs on May 12th.

Jon Watts of the Waverly boys has got nominations for Best Pop Video for Fatboy Slim's The Joker and also Best Debut for Fatboys' Wonderful Night.

Charlie White is also nominated for Best Debut for Interpol's Evil.

Lynn Fox have been nominated for Best Alternative for Bjork's Oceania.

Big Blimp congratulations to Smuggler's Brian Beletic for his nomination for Best Electronic Video for Fatboy Slim's Don't Let The Man Get You Down.

Shot over 2 years ago in downtown LA and featuring a very young Paris Hilton the video has been tweaked, edited and adjusted to the record company release schedule to the point that we thought it might never come out.

Trust me this is worth waiting for and Mr Beletic deserves and award just for his patience.

Alex & Liane's new Bloc Party & The Tears promos.

A&Ls Bloc Party for Banquet has divided audiences but we still love it. Two day shoot, pre-light and a world of pain in post the video is an ambiguous exploration of the nuances of the song offset with band performance.

The Tears was originally planned as a four day shoot on DV but band concerns took us in a different direction and we ended up shooting for one night on film with the marvellous Dan Landin.
