Its with total disbelief that Colonel Blimp acknowledges the death of Dj legend John Peel. Inspirational doesn't start to describe the influence he has had not just on this writer but all our directors. He will be sorely missed.

Colonel Blimp have been long term admirers of Alex and Liane since their debut video for Hanayo and is now able to welcome them into the officers mess. Winners of the Best New Director award at this years CADS the Berlin based duo have been making a name for themselves with a series of sexy and stylish videos. check them here.

La Dolce Vita: a big Blimp hug to Dougal Wilson who has been nominated for best video at the MTV Awards in Rome on November 18th.

This award is not open to a public vote so fingers crossed Mike Skinner can make it on the night...

Dougal Wilson has delivered another twisted classic this time for Dizzee Rascal. Set on a 1950s kids TV show Dizzee plays a puppet on community service. The directors cut is black and white but there is also a second version available on request in a beautifully washed out Technicolour.
