New work from Adam Smith, Diamond Dogs and Ark will be appearing on the web site from Monday 13th of September. Adam Smith's video for the Streets "Blinded By The Lights" takes music video into Nil By Mouth territory and features that films star the excellent Charlie Creed Miles. Unsurprisingly banned from most channels for its honest depiction of drugs, sex, and fighting the video sneaked out on Channel 4 last Friday but for those that had something better to do - drugs, sex and/or fighting? - it can be seen complete and unexpurgated on the Blimp website from Monday. Diamond Dogs are delivering their best video to date for 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster. Drawing a suitably demonic performance from Guy as a deranged president the video charts the rise and near fall of the Disaster Party in the forthcoming US elections. Its a banger. Ark's latest for Shaznay is a stark contrast to their deep space voyage with Muse. This is a study in beauty, light and performance set on an impossibly beautiful beach in the middle of the night. Simple, elegant and very beautiful. |
